Discover games
MUDStats.com helps people find and learn about MUDs (multi-user dungeons), shared online text games. It attempts to regularly collect player counts and other details from listed games. It also brings together information from several game lists and websites.

Tools for players and creators
Mudlet helps people play MUDs and customize their experience. Its toolkit supports many ways for games to send and receive data, known as protocols.
Game creators can add visual elements and new features. Players can write scripts to automate parts of play or change how game information appears.

Connect and play
TinTin++ (also called tt++) is a free MUD client for Android, iOS, Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows. A client is an app that connects you to a game. It includes automatic map drawing, a scripting language, and a VT100 text-terminal interface.
The Windows version, WinTin++, uses the PuTTY-derived mintty terminal. It is available for people who do not use Cygwin, a Linux-like environment for Windows. It supports Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10.

Find your community
Grapevine showcases MUDs and helps players find a new favorite game. It also provides a chat network that games can join, so players can talk to each other across different games.

Build text worlds
ToastStunt is software for running shared text worlds. It is a fork (a separately developed version) of the LambdaMOO / Stunt server. A MOO is a programmable, shared text world.
Its features and improvements grew out of work on Miriani and ChatMud.

Play in your browser
The Public Dome Client lets you connect to MUDs in a web browser. It uses WebSockets to exchange game messages in real time. Its source code is open for others to contribute to or fork on GitHub.
A public version runs on Sindome servers. Anyone can use it to connect to their favorite games.
Our support We contribute to this project with our time. In the future, we plan to pay for server costs.
Learn and create
This GitHub repository helps people learn to program in MOO. It includes an introduction, an updated LambdaMOO programmer’s guide, and a collection of tutorials.
Several contributors have also shared useful MOO code and server patches (changes that fix or improve server software).

Shared stories
Sindome is an online text-based cyberpunk role-playing game (RPG), inspired by Neuromancer, Judge Dredd, and more. Cyberpunk stories bring together advanced technology and troubled societies.
You play with other people in real time and develop a character with a past, thoughts, dreams, and secrets. The game includes a wide range of accessibility features and connects to the Grapevine Chat Network.

MudVerse is a free, not-for-profit listing website for text-based games, including MUDs and MOOs. Anyone can list their game for free with a few clicks.
It connects with the Dome Client, letting visitors start playing directly from a game’s page.

Accessible adventures
Erion is a free medieval fantasy MUD with something for everyone. It takes special care to support accessibility for players from the start.
It also supports soundpacks, which add audio cues to help players follow what is happening in the game.

Learn by doing
Learn MOO programming in your browser, from your first steps to more advanced ideas. Read a guided lesson, run its code, and try a change to see what happens.
MOO Academy brings lessons, editable examples, and results together. You can practice without setting up a server or creating an account.
